Private by design
Parsing happens on your phone in an encrypted local database. Cloud sync, if you turn it on, only moves structured data, never message text.
CashKlip reads the bank SMS and notifications already on your phone and turns them into a clean, private ledger. No logins. Your raw SMS stays on your phone. No typing.
Every tap of your card fires off a text from your bank. CashKlip reads it, categorises it, and quietly adds it to your ledger, without ever touching a server you don't control.
Parsing happens on your phone in an encrypted local database. Cloud sync, if you turn it on, only moves structured data, never message text.
Every bank SMS and push notification becomes a line in your ledger. No manual entry, no CSV imports, no Plaid-style bank logins.
If your bank sends a text when you spend, CashKlip can read it. Dozens of banks are already recognised, and community patterns cover the rest.
Transactions land in the right category automatically. Correct one and the app remembers it.
Set monthly limits by category. A hairline progress line shows exactly where you stand. No red-alert anxiety, no pushy nudges.
USD, EUR, GBP, INR, JPY, NGN, and 140 more. Foreign transactions are converted for your reports using daily mid-market rates.
CashKlip is not a bank aggregator. We don't ask for your banking credentials. We don't connect to Plaid or Salt Edge. We don't have API keys to your accounts. We read the messages your bank already sends you, on the device you already trust, and leave the rest alone.
Parsing runs on-device. When a bank format we don't recognize shows up and you've opted in to cloud parsing, we send the placeholder shape ({AMT} {VAR} {CARD}). We never send the actual amount, card number, or account ID. The full message body never leaves your phone.
Android first. Works with any bank that sends you a transaction alert.
